David R. Edwards, Ph.D., is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, Licensed Social Worker, reserve police officer, and public safety chaplain. He also teaches in the School of Human Services at Michigan’s largest evangelical Christian university. David is an approved instructor with the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, a member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association, the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress, and is a Certified Trauma Services Specialist through the Association of Traumatic Stress Specialists.
